Three cheers for tradition!
For those who don't know, for years, until the Red Sox finally won the series, Boston fans used to visit Babe Ruth's grave and ask him to release "the curse of the Bambino."
Please God, that won't happen again. My mother and father (Ginny's grandparents) are buried in that cemetery - Gate of Heaven! And Uncle Joe, and cousin Bill.

Isn't it a mortal sin to be a Yankee's fan? I seem to remember something about that from moral theology.
"Thou shalt not root for the Yankees, nor shalt thou be joyful when they win or are in first place."
.... but the book does bear an imprimatur from a Boston bishop.
Very Well then Fr. I think I must confess. I am a Yankee fan! I do believe I should be absolved now. I would not want to commit a mortal sin.
I do believe my penance should be to read this book, shall suffice, eh?? LOL
P.S. Father I think I will be commiting this sin again so I do believe I will see you in the confessional???
